California
It sounds crazy in retrospect, but we flew to California for the fourth of July weekend. We're glad we're did though, because we had a great time hanging out with my mom and Kent. We were especially glad the Steensons made the 16 hour drive from Idaho and got to meet Olivia.
Olivia did a great job on the plane, but we were completely exhausted. It seems like every minute was spent either having tons of fun at the beach or in town, or crashing hard on the couch or bed.
We had an 8 person horshoe tournment, and I'm proud to say that I made it all the way to the finals. I lost a close championship game, but to a worthy opponent. Congratulations Shawn!Half Moon Bay
We spent a day at Half Moon Bay and had a blast! Unfortunately though, because it felt chilly and we didn't see the sun behind the fog most of the day, we had no idea how sun burnt we were all getting. It took a few days for my face to finish blistering and peeling. 
Katie was on a growth spurt while were there and WOULD NOT STOP eating. Even after sucking the juice out of this thing, she was searching every nook and cranny for one more sip.
We got to see some "sills" (seals in a Utah accent) and it was pretty impressive.

This is the most sun Olivia saw the entire time, she was so well bundled up. Not to mention sleeping the whole time after having flown across the country the day before.
