It sounds crazy in retrospect, but we flew to California for the fourth of July weekend. We're glad we're did though, because we had a great time hanging out with my mom and Kent. We were especially glad the Steensons made the 16 hour drive from Idaho and got to meet Olivia.
Olivia did a great job on the plane, but we were completely exhausted. It seems like every minute was spent either having tons of fun at the beach or in town, or crashing hard on the couch or bed.
We had an 8 person horshoe tournment, and I'm proud to say that I made it all the way to the finals. I lost a close championship game, but to a worthy opponent. Congratulations Shawn!
